About this lesson
Learn when to use llevar (take something away or wear it) and traer (bring something toward the speaker). Three short sentences show where only one word fits.
How to practise
- Before each example plays, pick the word that fits and say your answer out loud.
- Read the difference card, then repeat every example in the Te toca · Your turn pause.
- At the end, check the common mistake so you never make it again.
The difference: llevar vs traer
- llevar to take, to wear. Move something away from here, or wear clothes
- traer to bring. Move something toward the speaker's place
Common mistake: Mañana traigo mi libro a tu casa. ✗ · Mañana llevo mi libro a tu casa. ✓ (You are going to their place, away from you, so use llevar.)
