About this lesson

A boy hears singing in his bag during class and thinks it is his phone. It turns out to be his grandmother's old phone, which she secretly put in his bag.

  1. 上课的时候，小明的书包在唱歌。

    Shàngkè de shíhou, Xiǎo Míng de shūbāo zài chànggē.

    During class, Xiao Ming's schoolbag was singing.

  2. 同学们都看着他，老师也笑了。

    Tóngxuémen dōu kàn zhe tā, lǎoshī yě xiào le.

    The classmates all looked at him, and the teacher laughed too.

  3. 他打开书包，找到了一个旧手机。

    Tā dǎkāi shūbāo, zhǎodào le yí gè jiù shǒujī.

    He opened the bag and found an old phone.

  4. 晚上回家，他问奶奶这是谁的手机。

    Wǎnshang huíjiā, tā wèn nǎinai zhè shì shuí de shǒujī.

    In the evening he went home and asked Grandma whose phone it was.

  5. 奶奶说：“那是我的，我想听你唱歌！”

    Nǎinai shuō: “Nà shì wǒ de, wǒ xiǎng tīng nǐ chànggē!”

    Grandma said, “It's mine, I wanted to hear you sing!”
