About this lesson

Since Nora moved out, her father Paul has kept a promise: a croissant every Saturday at the bakery. This week she comes, but with news: she is too busy to come every week. They find a quiet new way to keep the promise.

How to practise

  1. Listen to each sentence first with no subtitles, and guess what it means.
  2. Then read it with English while the teacher explains it, with one useful point.
  3. Repeat it out loud in the À toi · Your turn pause, then follow the whole conversation at the end.
