Les transports Transport
| Word | Meaning | Don't say |

| le train | the train masculine noun, prendre le train | Je vais à train au travail. ✗ · Je vais au travail en train. ✓ Use en with transport, not à: en train, en bus. |
| le bus | the bus masculine noun, prendre le bus | La bus arrive. ✗ · Le bus arrive. ✓ Bus is masculine in French, so always say le bus. |
| vélo | the bike masculine noun, aller à vélo | Je vais au bureau en vélo. ✗ · Je vais au bureau à vélo. ✓ With a bike you sit on it, so French uses à, not en. |
